Loss of my husband stings like nothing else

An article appeared in our local newspaper the other day, which touched a soft stop in my heart. While, I'm not allowed to post it directly, here is a link to Loss of my husband stings like nothing else written by Reba Glunk. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hi, Tommy...The link didn't work but I found the bittersweet story. Life is SO SHORT, isn't it? For YEARS, we think that we're indestructible and along comes "middle-age" to slap some SENSE into us with whatever we're supposed to bear! :-/ Man, that couple endured a LOT over the course of their marriage. Thanks for sharing it with us! I really appreciate it! Glad you've got power! :-D

OOPS! Sorry about the link. I fixed it and it seems ok now.

Yes, it is a bittersweet story as you say. It makes you wonder, how would I be under those circumstances? You'd like to think, strong. But, who knows; she certainly does.

"we're indestructible and along comes "middle-age" to slap some SENSE into us" TC, you're a wise woman..

Yes...all of us. Supposedly, we aren't supposed to get more than we can each bear, so...

"You'd like to think, strong."

Yes, exactly.

"But, who knows; she certainly does."

Most definitely.

Well...thanks, Tommy; wish I could agree with you! lol! Most of my "wisdom" sure has come from a LOT of MISTAKES and I'm pretty good at being consistent w/those!!! :-/
