That was so wonderful, Tommy! Thanks for sharing this! Have you ever watched 'March of the Penguins?' It's much like this: amazing photography and shows an entire year's life cycle. The care of the parent is so tender and, yet, in the end, they just walk away from the little darling, as soon as it is able to care for itself, never to have anything to do with it, ever again! And...if you see the extremes with which they go through just to incubate the babies, you would never think that of this beautiful bird species!
I LOVE how the parent shuffles along w/the little one on its feet; so adorable...and necessary!
