Ya, I found it quite interesting as well. I had forgotten about the lens reversing adapters (rings?). I'm going to pick one up and start playing with these macro photos a bit more. I've always liked good close-ups.
When I had my Photography Studio in the late 70's and early 80's...I had a reverse adaptor for my Nikon F and used a short zoom lens (35-83mm) to copy slides on to black and white film...Worked great...
