Mel arrived some time later with his computer in hand. Being very protective of his work, he asked if he could sit and wait while I did the work. Well, it ended up taking hours and hours to recover the images. During that time, we had a couple of cocktails and formed a friendship that has continued over the years. By the way, I was able to save all of his work.
Since that time I have visited his home many times and every time there I see something new that I hadn't seen the last time. It is absolutely awesome. He did a good job with Mel's work.
