I was recently watching an old episode of Cheers and heard this great exchange between Woody and Diane.

Diane asked Woody "Woody do you believe in intuition?" "No" he replied, "but I did have a feeling once that I would sometime in the future."

Lonely nights

Preying Mantis

I used to see a Preying Mantis now and then when I was a kid. But, I haven't seen on in years. I was out on my deck the other day and there it was. It's sitting on a 5/4 by 6 inch plank. So the board is about 5.5 inches wide, so that should give you an idea of it's size. It was pretty big. It finally just walked to edge of the deck and started to climb up the side of our above ground pool. That didn't work so well though, as it fell and under the deck it went never to be seen again. So sad....
